I was a little cautious about picking this up as I have a bad history of enjoying these types of games for a few days then becoming bored quickly (Animal Crossing: A New Leaf for example). Well, it's been two weeks now and I've been playing this every day for a few hours, and it's still just as fun! It has a slow beginning; your character joins an empty town and it's his job to get it back on its feet once again by taking over the local farm. The early hours of the game let you get to grips with farming and foraging. Once you power through this the game really opens up with a range of animals to take care of, season specific crops, festivals, relationships and town editing features. At this price, the game is an absolute bargain. Even as a full price 3DS game, I would still be just as happy with it.
