For a long time Deus ex -fan and owner of the original Deus ex: Human revolution + Missing link, I decieded to buy Directors cut as support for the franchise. The price was just right for a small graphical update, tiny gameplay tweaks and audio commentary while playing. However there are other differences also compared to original version. For some reason manual is about 16 pages shorter and you cannot install game on a hard drive. Also internet is full of talk about how smartglass features just dont work. However that I cannot confirm, since I dont own device capable of running one. So would I recommended this to people? No I wouldn't. When or if they will patch the game so you can install it on hard drive, then most definitely.

As a fan of Mass Effect, i was looking for something similar, but not really a clone. I found deus ex, looked up some gameplay videos on yt and ordered the game. Game is excellent. Really like the mechanics, story. If you enjoyed ME, you will enjoy Deus Ex also!
