a fantastic selection of war films with amazing casts at such a low price

OK - whats not to like. Three great war films for the price of two easily forgotten lattes in Starbucks. My personal favourite is B of B with a ton of British faces (and those of crazy foreigners) doing what they are paid to do. And, that incredible arial battle scene with that oh-so complimentary music. The film is in part reasonable for the preservation of some of our aircraft. What-oh. Oh, and theres this American do stunts on a bike in an ultimately very sad story of our lads trying to get home. Plus, the late Richard Attenborough's glorious(?) take on securing a bridge or two. Fantastic number of top-notch actors, some no longer around (not due to the WII, I should add) in these fantastic films. Yes, they are repeated on TV but with your own BluRay set it can be Sunday afternoon whenever you like. Chocks away - brill.

If you don't have any of these on blu-ray and were toying with the idea of getting at least one of them, then my suggestion is (at this price), toy no longer and snap this set up. Bridge and Battle were done on an epic scale (I can forgive the stuka attack on the radar towers in Battle, given the period it was made and the fact that a lot of real aircraft of the era were used in most other scenes), with actors you don't (and in some cases won't) see too much of anymore. Pity. Escape haas always been a fave, so enough said. What are you waiting for?

Battle of Britain, Bridge too far these are classical movies one must have on blu-ray. the only pity is the the extras are not included. On DVD you have an interview with a formal pilot. But for this price you're looking sharp
