I will start by assuming you all know the story of gremlins so won't waste time reviewing the film instead will discuss the steelbook and disc contents. Once again zavvi have produced a lovely steelbook with embossed lettering and border on the front, classic gremlins artwork for the back (under the J card) and inside even more gremlins artwork. If I had to pick 1 fault I would have used the rear artwork for the front of the case but that's just my preference and doesn't detract from the film. The blu ray contains not a great load of extras but there is 2 commentaries and a few other bits. Picture and sound quality are very good and the best it's looked and sounded since its original release. So in conclusion if you like the film I can highly recommend this package and if you have never seen it why not treat yourself as for this price what have you got to lose?

Finally a home video release of this classic movie with good artwork. This is a high quality steelbook . Love the embossing and REALLY love the original theatrical teaser artwork onthe back. Zavvi, you knocked this one out of the park. Also region free for importing to USA or Canada

Beautiful Steelbook for collectors, the movie is quite OK

Great packaging - the smoking Stripe doing his Groucho Marx. When many people think of Christmas they will come up with Bing Crosby and White Christmas and Jimmy Stewart and It's A Wonderful Life, but Gremlins has to be there as one of the top, though left of centre, Christmas movies - a little 80s melancholy too.

One of the best films of my childhood and in this lovely case it makes a must for collectors
