Drew Struzan's cover art for this steelbook is gorgeous and looks even better in person. The blu-ray itself has plenty of special features and looks fantastic. it's a great buy and I'm quite glad to own it.

This Movie from Del Toro is great, and it is the film, that won him mainstream attention. Its a nice fantasy movie With touches of horror. It reminds me of the nightmares one would have as a child. The steelbook design is absolutely stunning, its one of my favorite steelbooks in my Collection. Buy it NOW, or regret it later.

I love this movie, is a masterpiece that I was looking forward to having in my collection and this steelbook is just perfect. Must have.

Yes, a very good steel, but also with a bonus, it has an excellent back cover which doubles as a second steel because they have left it clean instead of turning it into a steel j-card, so to speak... This should be a rule rather than an exception...

I do not normally buy steelbook blu-rays, but I read on DVDCOMPARE website that the exclusive Zavvi release has a picture with minimal DNR and lossless DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack. The USA version has 7.1 audio, but picture is spoiled by too much DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) The UK Amazon version has only a Dolby 5.1 soundtrack. The steelbook is a work of art in itself, but I was more interested in the Blu-ray, and I glad I made the purchase, The film has an excellent picture and sound. For those that are unfamiliar with the film it concerns a young girl during the Spanish Civil War and blends fact with fantasy, typical of Guillermo Del Toro who also made the Hellboy films, Cronos and Devil's Backbone amongst others, The film won many awards including 3 of 6 Oscars it was nominated for, In Spanish with English Subtitles and highly recommended.

This is an amazing steelbook blu ray. Looks very very cool. I freaking love the artwork. Looks even more amazing in person. And the movie is one of my facorits. Great doing buisness on zavvi easy, fast and cheap. Will do buisness again soon.

Now I'm a huge movie fan, and a tough critic even to myself! I have seen so many that are great, but never quite made it into my top 5, or even top 10 for that matter. But once in a while there comes that special film that after you've seen it, will creep into your mind and settle itself there as a member of your top list. And it is this film, that may just do that for you as it did for me. Pan's Labyrinth is a story set in Spain, 1944. It follows Ofelia, a young girl caught in between the war and a fantasy world where she must complete tasks given to her by a mystical faun, in order to get back to her rightful place and be with the king again, her father. This film really is a masterpiece. Incredible story telling, great acting, stunning visuals and an eerie soundtrack that will still be playing in your head long after it's finished. As an avid steelbook collector for my top films, the steelbook edition of this film was perfect for me. Beautiful artwork and with a cool glistening finish to the material, this is a must buy. Highly recommended!

I've ordered well over 30 steel-books from Zavvi in the last 2 months , most of the movies i buy ,i love , very few i buy for the art work , this has both ,good art cover and great foreign film , lot to learn in this film ,every-thing seems beautiful and innocent to a young person despite going through a rough life with good intention's , not so., definitely a good change of passe , I love the scenery in the movie as well as the steel-book cover, thumps- up !!
