If you want a quick meal fix ,the small pressure cooker is the answer. It doesn't take much space,doesn't weigh much so easy for lifting one handed. A quick soup with lentils ,potatoes, carrots or other vegetables cut up small,some water ,salt and pepper. Put on the heat and as soon as you hear the higher noise of steam ,turn the heat down and in 5 minutes after you have run cold water over the top of the pan ,you hear the depressurisation and you can open the top by a sidewiays twist and enjoy you cooked soup.
