It's a nice game, with a cool story and smooth gameplay. Not a masterpiece but still a good game.

What can I say about this game that you already don't know? This game was released in October 2010 for consoles, and in August 2013 for PC. It has two DLCs (both are included in this collection) called: Reverie and Resurrection. There is also a sequel called Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate (it's included in this collection too) that is first released for Nintendo 3DS in March 2013, and in October for PS3 and Xbox 360. If you didn't play this game until now, I definitely recommend you to play it, because it's really great game that you shouldn't miss, especially at this price. You will also get a beautiful "steelbook" box.

Best game EVER!

I've picked up this edition of Castlevania to just have it, because the game was great after all and I've not played DLCs before. To me it's a must have. Great golden steel book and lots of content inside, includin digital Castlevania LOS: Mirror of Fate HD full version and demo of Lords of Shadow 2. Great Buy!

In an age where almost every popular franchise is getting a reboot, here comes Castlevania's attempt to reboot, and it actually does exceptionally well. The music, while a departure from traditional upbeat music, has new orchestral numbers which suit the sweeping vista's you'll be traveling through. The gameplay is easy to learn/difficult to master style. The story is superb. All in all a good remake!

Perfect fit for the Castlevania series reboot fans. Packing is gorgeous and will look great in the videogame collection. This set includes the first Lords of Shadow game along with the 2-D sequel (3DS original, enhanced for consoles) in disc. It also includes redeem codes for the first game's DLC and early access to the Lords of Shadow 2 demo.This is a must for 3D platformer / adventure /adventure gamers that like good narrative, great voice acting (Robert Carlyle, Patrick Stewart), outstanding graphics and highly enjoyable gameplay plus terrific original score.

The quality of the steelbook is just excellent for the price. You pay even less to receive more. On the first day that i bought the steelbook i doped it on the stairs and the case and the disc were just as new, no damage whatsoever. The game it's just great, the original lords of shadow, plus the dlc, with the mirror of fate and the castlevania 2 demo, it's exceptional and a great deal. This one is a must buy for sure.

I didn't have enough time to play the whole game, but what I've seen was enough to say that this Castlevania holds as a very good title. It has extremely big potential, I hope it will fulifill my expectations as I go further in the game. This version has the advantage of containing the DLC's for the game, and a special, remastered for PS3 version of a Nintendo 3DS part of Castlevania:Lords of Shadow, which makes it even more special.
