Fab steelbook, average movie. Great 3D and visual effects, enjoyed the movie but I think I expected to much from it and on second viewing I was able to just enjoy it.

Excelent film. If you are a superman then this is a must. Fan static steel cover.

Was thrilled to see this movie released in such a nice steelbook. The overall quality is good, has a quite minimalistic design with nice artwork. One could say perfectly in sync with the movie itself. If it were not for the 3D logo (which is absent from the product description images), I would have given an excellent review. But seeing as that is not the case, I must say the unexpected addition to the front and side left me feeling a bit disappointed, especially because they seem quite random (design wise). Arrived promptly and in secure packaging.

I enjoyed movie very much, it had good story partly told in flashbacks, the guy who played Zod was a great actor and came over as a some one was not a really evil person he was just programed that way good acting, as for Lois Lane no she did not fit bill for me, it would have been great if they got the actress who was in Superman the return,most people will say that most of the time Henry Cavill did not hold a candle to say Christopher Reeve, which most people will compare him with, which is a shame, maybe if the producers give a kiss curl on his forehead they will forgive him, he played the part very well and looked the part and there was one scene were he is flying up out a fire and he did remind me the Superman comics, if I could get that scene on a poster I would buy it. This Superman movie was not funny and was not meant to be, for my money it could have a bit more darker as in the recent Batman movies or Superman 3 where we saw the darker side of Superman. I wish his cape was not made cloth and I glad the red under pants were gone, not that you really notice I mainly look at the S logo on his chest, the suit looked great. It was nice to see Kevin Costner he did a good job of not hamming it up and played his part well, as for Laurence Fishburne his a great actor he had build for Perry White, but not the Perry I remember no cigar and no "Great Caesar's ghost " which would have made it for me, was Jimmy Olsen in it the cub reporter with camera in hand in it, I must have miss him. I am not going to say anything good or bad against Russell Crowe, I just think some one else could have done the job.

If I'm honest I didn't enjoy this the first time I saw it. I thought I would give it another chance and i'm glad I did. While it's not perfect its certainly alot better than I first thought. It's much better than the last reboot effort and hopefully the start of a good franchise.

Awesome movie and super sharp steelbook! Highly recommend this one over the regular bluray version.

The Steelbook came in in perfect condition. This was my first Zavvi purchase and I was impressed with the service. The price was reasonable and the shopping was great. Will definitely buy from again.

Well it seemed obvious that I should get a Steelbook of Man of Steel because of the name!!! :D Even though there is truth in that, it is not the only reason for my purchase and the 5 star rating. This was very well put together, looks good on the shelf and has great features on the discs. That said, I do prefer embossing, of which this had none. I also do not care for credits on the front of this cover, of which this had several. Overall, fantastic purchase!

Beautiful collectible steelbook fantastic film and the order was shipped with a slight delay but Zavvi contacted me to apologise for this after which point the dvd arrived promptly.
