This steelbook's artwork is fantastic, including the inner artwork, that isn't actually shown on the Zavvi site. My order arrived swiftly and in perfect condition. It will be displayed prominently in my collection. It's a must own, for fans of Takashi Miike. The movie itself, is one of Takashi Miike's finest. The antagonist is one of the most depraved characters ever committed to celluloid, in my opinion. It's definitely worth checking out, if you're a fan of samurai films.

Another fantastic steelbook from Zavvi. Gorgeous matte painting on front and back. Inner artwork very nice as well. Makes a great companion piece to Zavvi's steelbook of Zatoichi. Both of them are must have steelbooks. The film itself is a masterpiece. If you love Samurai cinema then you will love this film. The story is about 13 ronin samurai who are tasked with assassinating an evil Lord, who just so happens to be the shogun's brother in law. He is also protected by about 500 to 1000 samurai. It is very much a film of 2 halves. The 1st is very formal and concerns itself with setting up the story and planning of the assassination. The 2nd has to be seen to be believed, it is 45 minutes of pure constant action. It is extremely violent and bloody and one of the most exciting and exhilarating action spectacles ever filmed. If you love action cinema then you have to add this to your collection.

This is one of my favourite Steelbooks in my collection, absolutely stunning front and back artwork, worth picking this one up as it is a Zavvi exclusive and it will bound to be OOP soon. Very pleased with this steel

Another great steel book from zavvi got at a bargain price,definatley recommend this to fans of shogan assassin and martial arts films in general,great fast service from zavvi as always.

This is a great little steelbook to add to the collection. The film is set during a period of peace in Japan and there is a senior member of the Japanese government who is abusing his power. In order to stop his reign of terror 13 assasins are hired to kill him. The film differs from the normal samurai formula but doesn't suffer for it and I can promise you that you will leave the film thinking about it. My only complaint with the film was that the main bad guy was cartoonishly evil to the level where it was hard at times to take him seriously. The steelbook itself is glossy which is a nice change and very shiny. Despite not being embossed it looks great and the design is distinctive enough to stand out in most collections.I especially like the blood effect on the steelbook as it looks like it was painted on instead of splattered. I would strongly reccomend a purchase

This is a great action movie in the tradition of the venerable Seven Samurai. Enjoyable, with believable combat and drama. The beautiful steelbook evokes the mood of the film with the katana-wielding warrior on the front and a silhouette of the sword on the back. This Blu-ray disc plays in my region-A locked North American PS3 despite its label.

Everything you could hope for! Incredible video image with great sound in a beautiful steelbook!

This is the best samurai movie since the ones by the masters Kurosawa and Kobayashi. Miike Takashi really gives one of the greatest samurai flick, with epic battles and great drama ! A modern seven samurai ! The steelbook itself is beautifull , very glossy and the artwork is gorgeous! Great movie , and great work for the steelbook.

13 Assinssins is a classic high prodaction japanis action movie, and if you like that its it needs to be in your collection. A the steelbook looks great. Great buy for me.
