I've watched this movie many, many times in the past, and this is the first time I've watched the movie where the video and audio quality look fantastic.

I saw this at the cinema when it first came out, okay I'll be honest I had a massive crush on Amy Irving. A few years ago I bought it on VHS, not a good idea. And now.... WOW, seriously well remastered film, you can almost see the grains of sand on the beach, a great performance from Kirk Douglas (you'll never belief how old he was..), and the DePalma direction we all know and love. Next in the queue: Blow Out. (OK, maybe the crush was on Nancy Allen too...)

As with so many Brian De Palma movies, the first thing you have to suspend here is your belief. Actually, more than that - this movie is so bonkers you can only enjoy it if you surrender to its ridiculousness and enjoy the ride. As ever, De Palma is far more interested in Big Effects and Operatic Camerawork than a plausible storyline. Having said which, he insures himself by giving juicy parts to Kirk Douglas and John Cassavetes, and hands scoring duties to John Williams. It's a rip-roaring magic trick, sleight-of-hand in poster colours. And here given as good a restoration as you could wish for. Great popcorn.

Great price compared to the US release, and it has a ton of extras! The only drawback is that is region B locked, but I just picked up a cheap region free player so it's not a problem for me. However people without a region free player are out of luck.

Purchased this during one of the arrow sales - very happy with the price - and the film was delivered really quickly too. As for the quality of the product, well it's quintessential De Palma - lots of fun!

Great film from the thriller director Brian De Palma. As per usual Arrow Video did a fantastic job. It looks and sounds great with a LPCM original audio track and tons of great extras!

This is one of Brian De Palmas best. Alongside with Carrie,Blow out,Scarface and The untouchables. I just want to say, SEE IT ! I recommend it very much !

After the phenomenal success of his seminal movie Carrie, Brian De Palma directed another movie about psychics and telekinesis - The Fury. The Fury was based on a novel by John Farris. He wrote the screenplay as well. The movie is about 2 teenagers with psychic powers that they not always can control. I won't go much in detail about the movie. I'll simply say it's very entertaining. The pace is high, there are some great scenes. The cst is also very good. De Palma did a good job here. Now about the Blu-ray. It's simply gorgeous. Great audio/video presentation. Great selection of special features. Well done Arrow Films! I can't recommend it highly enough! And special thanks to Zavvi for great service.
