great series a little slow in places but leaves you wanting more

I'm really enjoying this series so far. I would recommend it to anyone who's watched and liked Game of Thrones or Spartacus.

I was familiar with series before it came out on DVD so I knew what to expect. DVD set includes usual goodies such as audio commentary of two episodes, "making of" and several introductions to Viking society.
