Everyone knows (or should know by now) this Stanley Kubrick horror classic which is somewhat loosely based on a Stephen King novel. Jack Nicholson does one of his most legendary performances and some scenes have been parodied and imitated a million times in different medias over the past 30+ years. Content wise this is identical to the previous Blu-ray release. Embossing on the steelbook is a nice touch too.

Excellent steelbook and classic movie! I do like the "Here's Johnny" scene on the regular amaray cover but it has been used countless times. This one is unique with the door, looks alot nicer in hand with the embossed door frame and "the shining" title. Will sell out soon!

Excellent Movie and Steelbook , very nice cover, highly recommend!

This steelbook is an absolute must for any Kubrick, horror or just general movie fan, the plain black with the door that Danny scrawls "redrum" onto with his mothers lipstick is a great harrowing image for the cover, the back showing jack Nicholson pulling one of his craziest faces when in the hedge maze at the climax of the film and my personal favorite touch, open it up and the inside slip cover featuring the now infamous axe through door leading up to that line we all know and love. Fantastic collectors piece!

The Shining Steelbook i received from Zavvi is excellent in every way a steelbook should be. There is wonderful embossing on the front, as well as great images on the back and inside. The limited quantity of this must have steelbook makes it impossible to pass on for serious steelbook collector.

Very nice steelbook and great price. Contains the international cut which is around 2 hours. If only they could get both cuts on the same disc I would have given it 5 stars.

Beautifully packaged, awesome movie what more can you say

Great steel book and excellent quailty and finish. The quality of the picture is fantastic and the whole steel book is really visually great to look at. This is also limited edition and worth the extra money to buy. Superior to the normal DVD the picture is vibrant, rich and very detailed which improves the film enormously and clarifies the detail to make the film more in depth and fantastic to watch. The film is sharper and gives visible detail and for a film that is over 30 years old is rather inspiring. Great film now in even better superiority.
