Considering the critics' poor reviews of this film, I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it was great. It was just as much a comedy as an action/adventure film with Johnny Depp proving that he is no slouch in the comedy department. Armie Hammer was good as the Lone Ranger but Depp dominated every scene he was in - which indeed was most of them. The scenes with Depp and the horse both in the film and the out-takes were priceless - 'there's something wrong with that horse' must be the catchphrase du jour. A good quality steelbook which has equally good artwork. A film well worth buying!

great film in a good design steelbook

This is a film that I enjoyed far more than I expected. Johnny Depp was superb and shows his flair for comedy - in fact the whole film was as much a comedy as action/adventure. Mr Depp with the horse - 'there's something wrong with that horse' - was a memorable part of the film and the out-takes too. Armie Hammer was good as the Lone Ranger but Depp stole every scene he was in - which was most of them. A film you can watch again and again; and the quality steelbook with great artwork is well worth buying.

Fantastic looking steelbook, version of this great movie, very entertaining my kid and even the grandchildren loved it, Johnny Depp is both funny & brilliant, just shows the film critics are not always right , The steelbook arrived 2 days early which was a bonus, Thanks Zavvi .

Very nice steelbook, film plot was a little weak but was funny all the way through, would recommend to anyone of any age.

An excellent movie, Johnny Depp make Tonto into a very funny character and guides you through the film, lots of action , train crashes all add up to lots of family entertainment!!

Fantastic looking Steel Book... great sound and picture quality, Johnny Depp is both brilliant and funny .. all in all a great comedy western, The critics that slated it either don't like westerns or they never even watched it, go on treat yourself this Christmas !
