The fourth installment of the die hard franchise sees an old style cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) taking on a new type of villain in the form of cyber terrorist Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant) with a support cast including Justin Long as McClane's would be side kick, and great comedy partner. The gag reel is a must see. The film has some good action sequences if be slightly OTT other supporting cast include Mary Elizabeth Winstead as McClane's estranged daughter and Maggie Q (t.v.'s Nikita) as one of Gabriel's terrorists. And a comedic cameo by Kevin Smith. This steelbook version is remastered compared to the previous release which suffered from slight transfer glitches and looks 100 times better and though not as good as the first two Die Hards it's on par with the third and better than the latest film which while I personally enjoyed could have been so much better. The steelbook it self is well crafted and looks brilliant well worth getting for your collection for the artwork but also for the much superior remastered disc.

Another nice Steelbook addition to the series from Zavvi. This one has a much nicer finish than parts 1 and 2 (almost glossy). Now I'm hoping they go back and release part 3 in this format as it will complete the collection.

Great film I think its one of the best out off all of them action all the way threw the film what more can you ask for....

These Die Hard Steels are good high octain action movies, but its the beautiful way these Steelbooks are presented which makes them such a bargain,, thanks again Zavvi !

I was put off buying this when first released because I was under the impression that it wasn't the harder cut I had on DVD. I decided to take the plunge when it was heavily discounted, I'm glad I did because having compaired it with the dvd i can't see any difference. Picture quality and sound is excellent in a steelbook with good art work. Hope we see die hard 3 with similar artwork as plays steelbook was dissapointing. If youre a die hard fan buy it now its heavily discounted and wont be there for long.
