From the very first episode I was completely immersed into the world of Dexter. Everything has been put together perfectly; especially the casting of actor Michael C.Hall, who has mastered portraying the part of convincing sociopath and living a 'normal'life Dexter with amazing skill. The slowly finding out about why he has become who he is and how he has the moral code that he works by, is filtered into the series in a perfect timescale that leaves you constantly intrigued and wanting more!

This series is incredible! I was hooked from the word go! Also the price of the item was incredible and it was delivered very quick!!!!!!

Very fast delivery, and in perfect condition upon opening. Zavvi have yet to disappoint me, would recommend anyone using their services. Dexter is a great series and I would recommend anyone to watch a few episodes, as thats all it will take to get hooked to it.

I love this series. Dexter works with the police in the forensic side of crimes and he works extremely hard at covering his own tracks in the murders of his victims. It's surprizing how easy Dexter makes it all look.

When watching dramas, the viewer never finds themselves supporting a serial killer. They are usually presented as cold-hearted, ruthless individuals who will stop at nothing to secure their next kill. Because of this, they're monsters. Dexter Morgan, the protagonist himself, is also a monster. He is, however, a different type of monster. He's a monster that the viewer feels supportive towards. He doesn't stand out in the crowd and if you seen him on the street, you would perceive him to be a regular guy. Because of this, he is the ultimate anti-hero. If there was one message that the writers were trying to put across to the viewer, it would be this: is it okay to rid those who have committed terrible sins from this world by committing what is ultimately the biggest sin yourself - murder? Throughout these 8 seasons, the viewer's morals in relation to this are tested by following the life of Dexter Morgan who does exactly that. Does doing what he do make Dexter a bad man? Not only does this show serve to entertain, but it serves to question us and society itself. Do we feel supportive towards Dexter because we feel that deep down we would do the same thing if he was in the same situation? Season 4 is a masterclass in TV drama making!

The DVD will not play for this region. No wonder it was so cheap, it's useless!!! Will not use this site again, nor do I recommend it to anyone!!
