Although this dock isn't perfect I think it's actually pretty good value for money. For some unknown reason it won't play music from my gen 4 iPod but it does charge it. I have tried other iPods and they work fine. I brought it for work and it does the job very well. I work in a very large room and it fills it easily. Without turning it right up either. The sound is ok , I wasn't expecting it to be amazing. I think it lacks bass, the small sub is underpowered and pretty inafective. But it works. Only other thing that would be great is adjustable bass and treble levels. But you can changethe EQ settings on the iPod. Overall it's a decent sounding dock with high volume and fine for work which is the sole reason I brought it.
