I'm not into RPGs. The reason why I pre-ordered Child of Light a long time ago was it's price - PS4 games aren't cheap, so I try to buy most of cheaper games until AAA titles become less expensive. Not since 50-60 EUR is expensive for me, but because I don't play often, so it's usually enough for me to own 2-3 games per month. Surely I buy AAA games and pre-order them (have 3 pre-orders on Zavvi at the moment), but let's not go into more details. So, Child of Light turned out to be a nice game. It looks fantastic and it's not a wonder considering it was done by the same people who did Rayman games recently. And it plays nice - I kind of started to like turn based RPGs. The soundtrack is really nice too and I especially liked the boss fights. What I didn't like that much after playing a while was the fights themselves - became quite repetitive and boring. But still, I managed to finish the game, get all the trophies and still remember it as one of the games I was happy to play. If you own Vita like I do - you'll get Child of Light for your mobile console. So, this price is even good for any Vita game, so I highly recommend it to anyone.
2D RPG with really beautiful backgrounds and good soundtrack. And it's not that easy, just don't choose "normal" difficulty on start cause it just destroys all fun. On expert you really need to consider all mechanics and use most of your party members. And about this edition content: 1. Keyring is meh - no any button to turn it on/off and hard to change batteries. But well, will still work w/o any batteries. 2. Poster is very well made - nice picture and tear resistant paper. 3. Artbook is a bit short but still nice. 4. And the game + 2 addons (Golem pack and Dark Aurora pack), all there. Golem one is especially good - gives you really good extra party member near start of the game.
Nice graphics and levels, combat is solid and great price
Beautiful looking game with old school final fantasy turn-based gameplay and a 2D platform twist, only problem it can get a bit repetitive and very easy to play. Recommend buying this version for the extras and DLC.
