I really liked the show: after watching 1st episode of it online I decided to order a blu ray edition of it and enjoy the rest of series 1 in high quality. I placed a pre-order on zavvi.com and was surprised to receive the blu ray box almost 1 week ahead of the official release date stated on the web-site. Having watched 7 episodes out of 8 I am very pleased with my purchase and am looking forward to the next season. What I most like about the show is the sea battles scenes, costumes, and cast. Recommend to everyone who likes pirate lore and would like to emerge in pirate atmosphere.

A great box set to while away the time. High production values and a consistently strong storyline make this a must view series!
