The unit finds the satellites quickly and has a clear display. Unfortunately the female voice seems very croaky and is certainly not as clear as my other Mio Spirit S305. I had to buy a TMC antenna power lead as the lead supplied does not contain a TMC aerial. The lifetime map updates are a big saving over other brands.

I bought this last week for my road trip for the weekend. This is good device for a price. Life time map is a huge bonus. Easy to setup. I am happy with overall performance. Only thing, I plugged Satnav to my computer using my micro USB cable (not supplied in the box), my computer is unable to detect satnav therefore I am unable to update maps. It is not easy to get support on their website either. I am assuming this is a problem with my USB cable.
