How many Alien games have promised so much only to be major disappointments? All of them until now. This is the Alien game fans have been waiting for but don't expect the usual by the numbers run and gun malarkey. This game is all about survival and the fear you would experience as a Nostromo crew member using a limited arsenal and your wits to survive. The graphics are beautifully rendered giving a true feel of the original film and the game itself whilst challenging has that one more try factor found in only the best of games. Buy it if you dare!!!!

The game is a bit dissapointing and boring. Not much action going on just hiding in front of one alien. Played better ones already.

Bought this for my son. From what I've seen it looks really good with excellent graphics as you would expect these days. The Ai seems pretty good up to now ( he says ) and it has him on the edge of his seat. He says it is quite often better to run and hide than to stand and fight. So if you like sneaking around rather than running around in a hail of bullets, then this might be for you. He's not got too far into it yet but what he's seen he likes :-)

If you are a fan of the original Alien film, then you will love this game. It is atmospheric and and full of tension just like the Ridley Scott directed film. The Ai is unpredictable which I think is a plus since it means you have to be on your feet all the time, especially when facing the alien. And with a host of other enemies percides the alien, as a player you have to change tactic to overcome the odds. The game also ties into the storyline of the 1979 Alien film. You play as Amanda Ripley, Ellen ripleys daughter. And throughout the game you will uncover Easter eggs which relate to the film. So with its 80s style and well presented design, alien isolation is a must play for Alien fans and horror fans alike, bringing the survival horror genre into territories.

Arrived on time and the game is terrifying and stressful like all good horror games should be.

What a fantastic game. Been a massive fan of the whole Alien franchise since a young age and this game fully deserves to bear its name! Such a scary, jumpy game and I loved every minute of it!
