Beautiful packaging and a great film. The only down side is that this contains the now "out of date" release of the film as there is a newer 4K restoration.
This blu ray steelbook is the same disc as the 2010 Studio Canal release. No subtitles, same extras. The disc itself is green. It has Studio Canal adverts before Menu appears. The picture quality is an improvement on the Criterion DVD 1999 version. I viewed it on 100 inch projection and I was impressed. The sound is dts, no problem. The steelbook itself is wafer thin and has a discardable cardboard sleeve top and bottom, info. on reverse of card . Great value at ten pounds for the best film ever made.
Beware region locked.Great artwork inside and outside.Nice finish/gloss.
The Third Man (1949) directed by Sir Carol Reed encapsulates post-war devastation and ensuing wrangles between desolation and promise like no other. This gorgeous steelbook is a must have for any film fan. Beautifully constructed and the transfer is excellent. A true, British movie masterpiece.
A classic deserves a proper treatment, which this steelbook has received. Looks great, one of the better!
What a great film this is, with superb performances from orson welles and joseph cotton, and a great catchy music score by Anton karas. This limited edition steelbook is a must for any movie buff collector.
Fantastic as always. Bought purely as Steel book. One of the best films for me.
