The only bonus this has over the regular release is that the second disc features 1 new documentary - a 24-minute exploration of the hype and marketing of Batman entitled "The Birth of the Modern Blockbuster" Other than this, there is no new transfer and the extras are all the same. It does come in a nicely presented gatefold however and nice artwork on the front cover which is an improvement in my honest opinion, over the original one. As for service, it arrived within a few days of ordering and was well packaged and the BR itself shrinkwrapped so I can't fault their service.

After the wide success of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Warner Bros. finally re-released this commemorative edition of Tim Burton's 1989 Batman. We all know the great quality of the movie, its strong story and great performances of Keaton and Nicholson. And if you didn't see the movie yet... well you should! This blu-ray steelbook with an extra disc of special features is a must-buy for every Bat-enthusiast.

Absolutely beautiful packaging. Love these Diamond Luxe cases, they really enhance the overall experience. Great movie, as well. Was very concerned about the choice of Michael Keaton to play Batman, but he did a great job.

Not that I really needed an excuse to purchase what's arguably the best comic book adaption of batman on the big screen, this re release to celebrate 25 years since release has it all. Great quality high definition picture insane extras all wrapped in a fantastic package. The only think it lacks is zavvi's awesome steelbook finish. So I bought both! Outstanding!

The original "modern" Batman. Great movie first time around and now even better with the Diamond Luxe Edition. Packed with additional features, you'll never be bored. Fantastic price too.

Blu-Ray arrived very quickly in excellent condition, bought as a update for my previous Blu-ray of Batman which had broken. This version is two discs with the first disc containing the film and all extras from the previous version of this release, the second disc a new documentary looking at Batman's place as a summer blockbuster. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the first truly great superhero movie at a very fair price currently.

Not watched the film yet so can't comment on picture quality but the case and design are phenomenal. Steelbooks have a new competitor.

The item arrived very quickly and in perfect condition and I was very impressed and as it was a gift I havnt watched it but I know it will be brilliant thank you once again.

Original comic book creator of Batman, Bob Kane, himself would be drawn to the quality of this gorgeous looking Diamond Luxe Edition of Director Tim Burton's 1989 big screen movie production of Batman. A beautifully produced 25th anniversary two disc Blu-ray set, comprising of a gate fold out interior, set off by striking background artwork from the film, that truly enhances the nicely nestled in place individual Blu-ray feature film and bonus material discs, both complimented by movie representative art work designs. The new Diamond Luxe Editions are a collectors check list serious consideration, right up there with the much sought after steelbook editions. Zavvi definitely have a live one here with Batman. One that even the odd Joker should be serious about picking up !
