First and foremost I have to say that Denzel Washington is the man!!! He totally owns this movie, and has varied ways to show his disapproval to those who provoke his wild side. The movie is a must see!!!! As for the steel, the coloring pops off the steelbook and the blood red splatter fits the film perfectly! Must own!!!!

Great movie remake from the 80s TV show. Denzel Washington does another great performance. The steelbook edition is great for the steelbook collector, fantastic artwork.

Great performance from Denzel as punisher in the movie, cool & no mercy same as John Wick. But Antoine Fuqua can be made the movie more hardcore in fight scene. And Chloe only show up in a little part of the movie, can be have more story about her will be better. Anyway recommended !!

I love films directed by Antoine Fuqua; and I don't normally have an adverse criticism of his films but the first quarter of this one is fairly slow. I appreciate that tension has to be built up, but I think it could have been achieved in less time. That having said, the film was great; Denzel Washington brought a new interpretation to the role of Robert McCall - far different to that of Edward Woodward - but it still worked. The close-up of McCall's eyes whilst summing up the situation was a great piece of cinematography and alerted the viewer of the forthcoming action. Fuqua's use of slow-motion photography worked for Washington as it did for Wahlburg in 'Shooter' and adds style to the film. If it hadn't been for the slightly slow start it would have been 5 stars!

Denzel Washington at his best mysterious and quiet but with amazing fighting and execution fighting skills that leave the drug lords and all round baddies in a bad way!!! Overal a very good movie worth watching !!!

Love it when Zavvi get a steel book as it always turns up early!!! Great film to be fair & the service from Zavvi, as per was second to none! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Yes I was also tricked a little, after reading the reviews here and seeing the 18 certificate on there picture. I was expecting thr uncut release
