The Guest is an unpredictable, Pulpy, adrenalin fuelled thrill ride that holds you breathless in its retro neon clasp from beginning to end.

Living in the US, it took a while to get to me, but once I got it I completely forgot about how long it took. This steelbook is beautiful, just like every other zavvi steelbook. I will continue to be a zavvi costumer.

The Guest is a real blast and one that I'm definitely the target audience for (instead of the apparent thrillers made for the teeny-bopper generation). An homage to the thrillers of the 80's in the same vain as Terminator and The Hitcher. Dan Stevens brims with menace but you can't help but like him as he doles out his own form of justice. If this and "You're Next" are anything to go by Adam Wingard next project is going to be something really worth watching. If you like your blood splatters with some real splat and take pleasure in seeing bullies get their just rewards then this is the film for you. There's not much in the way of extras but the steelbox is a nice touch.

A cool, twisty turny thriller with a loveable psycho (wonderfully played by Dan Stevens) at the heart, that isn't scared to dip into the comedic aspects of the genre. The sun soaked and neon-lit extremes of the film's settings provide a retro-tinged backdrop highlighted by the 80s electronic soundtrack. The trick is not to think too hard about it. Brilliant! Not many extras on the blu ray but the steelbook itself looks great.

Excellent, modest thriller with a few original twists and a superb central performance from our man from Downton. Great entertainment nicely packaged in a decent Steelbook.

Saw this at the cinema when it was released and was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. So had to pick this up on blu ray when it was released. Enjoyable movie from start to finish, good acting and enjoyed the soundtrack. Give it a try :)

is he who he says he is, you dont always need a big budget to be able to enjoy a movie, this is a story that will grab your attention from the start, and will pull you in more and more as you watch, if your looking for a movie that you and the mrs can enjoy together i highly recommend checking out this thriller, as this cool customer will have you on edge upto the end,

If you like action movies with lots of gunfire this movie has it. I think there will be a sequel. Definitely not a family movie due to violent scenes.
