One of my all time favourite movies! The steelbook itself is very cool, nice artwork, solid with a nice gloss finish. Unfortunately, the disc is the same one you can already buy! The transfer is a slight improvement over the DVD and the extras are exactly the same as the special edition DVD. Nothing new. I'd recommend only for huge fans of the film. However, I can never fault Zavvi, I've bought so much from them over the past few months and the service is beyond excellent! Thanks :-)

I can't believe it! I am one of the few, who thanks to Zavvi and their great deals own this gorgeous Steelbook of my favorite movie. The Blu Ray quality is soooooo good for an older movie, with sound that sets you back to 1993. But the best part to me, is the quality and pure beauty of this steelbook. It is clearly a beautiful homage to a movie that inspired so much art itself, which is why buying a movie that I already owned but NEEDED to be one of the lucky few to have it on Steelbook was worth it!

This review is not on the film It's on the steelbook which looks beautiful. Lovely gloss finish on a great cover art. My only gripe would be that this would be a much more desirable steelbook if it contained some embossing/debossing. Still worth a purchase if you don't have this movie in your collection

During a decade that horror movies were coming in theaters one after the other there was a gem appearing in the crow. It is a revenge movie but when love is the incentive then it more appealing and even more aggressive. This is one for you library and zavvi did an excellent job on this steelbook. Kept it simple but revealed the character's intentions by his presentation's look. A classic and a real good movie, generations later, it will still keep you at the edge of your seats and that's way it is a 5. Highly recommended!!

I ususally don't like to buy BD if they don't include language or (at least) subtitles in my language (Spanish) but I buy anyway if the design is good, that is the case! Anyway, would be appreciated not only redesign the case but also the disc, as the image on the disc is just the same as the old edition, and, of course more languages / subtitles available would be much much appreciated!

The Crow, a legendary film and rightly so. Brandon Lee made this role his own as the avenging angel wreaking revenge and bringing carnage to those responsible for his, and his fiance's, demise. A one of a kind movie that brings action, thriller, supernatural horror, melancholy and grief, all together, that leaves you with a film you'll never forget - and one that you will keep watching over and over again, as i do. Sm when this steelbook was announced, i jumped! Now i have it in hand! The design and artwork are really nice, very good exterinr and interior, so i am happy with that. My gripe is that, with such an iconic film, and it really is, the disc should have been an upgrade from the amray version thats been available for years. The disc is basically EXACTLY the same as the previously released special edition blu ray, and everybody knows that the screen image on this needs a remaster. Not that its really bad, but it could be better, and a film like this should be as good as it can be. Even the audio is just DTS - not DTS HD. There was alot of time to make this steelbook a REAL special collectors joy, as it was months before it was finally released after first going up for pre order, so this could have been the whole package. What we get is a great movie in a beautiful steelbook, albeit with the already available, compromised disc. A bit of a shame but, hey, i've now got The Crow in a steelbook, and at least for now, i am happy with that. Movie - 10/10, steelbook - 9/10, disc - 7/10.

Nicely designed Steelbook packaging of a classic movie. Unlike many others of the era, Brandon Lees final movie (he was killed on set) stands the test of time and remains a visually excellent, dark and engaging experience. Nice Blu Ray quality makes this definitely worth the upgrade, an essential addition to any collection.
