Dystopian Brilliance

I would describe this as Roald Dahl meets George Orwell. The writing is fantastic and so is the execution of said writing in the direction, acting, production and delivery of aesthetics. These earliest episodes are the freshest ones before I think Black Mirror became a bit tired and formulaic. They are my favourite at least, and that might depend on the order in which you're exposed to them. What is very striking about these is that they are futuristic stories, but not so distant as to be unimaginable or too exaggerated. That makes them very compelling and at times also very unsettling scenarios. The story and plot-lines are what I liked most about this. If you love a good yarn that sometimes has a dark twist to it, you will enjoy.
