As a 1960's Tv show, this was a long time in coming to DVD and Blu-ray due to legal issues. But boy was it worth the wait. The picture quality is superb - so good, it felt like I was watching the episodes for the first time. When you take into account you get the whole series and that Zavvis price was unbeatable at my time of purchasing, this is a must buy for all Adam West and Bert Ward Bat- fans

This is a great collection of the Batman 66 tv series. All 120 fun packed episodes are here and in pristine HD quality that doesn't look too glossy like some old TV shows do on Blu Ray. My only complaint ( and thus the 4 stars) is that of the packaging itself. For some reason the trays that hold two discs don't use the normal centre press that most use and instead latch onto the sides of the disc. While this hasn't damaged the disc I was very tentative about removing them as they scraped against the plastic. An odd choice for sure when the standard packaging would work just as well.

Excellent Bluray set and Zavvi has the best price around. The Bluray transfer is so crisp you can see the Kirby wires, sweat stains on the costumes and painted backdrops (forgivable as it wasn't meant to be seen on HD). It's fun spotting the famous actor cameos. Due to the repetitive storylines and stock footage, it's more of a series to dip into than watch as a marathon. For fans, it is nice reconciling the behind the scenes autobiographical references of the actors with their on-screen antics. For completists, this set has the corrected Bluray discs (missing from the original US release) of the opening episode narration and the cooking scene reinstated in Series 2, disc 2.

cant fault this one - except a little niggle the box is DVD size so wont fit alongside other blu rays on the shelf.

excellent picture and sound considering how old it is but remember it was made for tv so it shows with black bars at the side coz its not widescreen, holy 4.3 ratio bruce,,great extras aswell and 120 episodes you have enough camp crazy stuff to last a life time plus ceaser romero roolz

Well packaged takes me back to my childhood nice box set

Delivered on time. Packaged really well. I must have for any real Batman fan! Takes me back to the time of my youth!

Great price for an iconic TV series

What a brilliant transfer to DVD. I can now be taken back to my childhood without having to wear glasses. Fantastic !!!

If you have never seen the Adam West Batman then you have really missed out. This saved the Batman franchise back in the 60's! Some now dislike the campy approach that was so appropriate for the time but if you put your tongue firmly in your cheek and sit back you can really enjoy the multi layered and seriously entertaining 60's version of Batman. With loads of stars appearing as Super Villains and the now famous cameo window appearances of celebrities of the time the show has everything you could want for an evenings entertainment. The Box set is a great way to re-visit those wonderful episodes and to see a little bit more about the show, true family entertainment for Batfans everywhere!
