Amazing figure one of my favourite hot toys I own, love the lightsaber lights up. Highly recommend

This is one of the most impressive recent releases from HotToys. When it was announced there were many negative comments about the likeness of the headsculpt, however in hand it is very much better than it looked in previews. I cannot say it is 100% perfect, but it is very close and wonderfully captures the spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi as portrayed by Alec Guinness in the original Star Wars movie (Episode IV A New Hope). Additionally, the quality of the robes, the belt and the boots is outstanding, the display base is perfect in it's simplicity. The highlight of this release though is the illuminating lightsaber, it is the final finishing flourish and it works beautifully. As usual with HotToys there are a number of interchangeable spare hands to allow a range of poses, and a lightsaber without a blade which can be hung from the belt for non-combat poses! If you are an original trilogy fan, you really can't go wrong with this figure. Zavvi offered this at a great price, delivered it promptly, it was well packed and they emailed when it was despatched so I knew when to expect it to arrive.

Saw the promo pics of this and thought. Well it looks pretty good, but not quite right. But this final version is spot on. Looks absolutely brilliant, they have got it just right. The out fit is top quality too. And the light sabre looks great when its lit up, even with the lights on in the room it still look bright. Excellent :-)
