Don't let yourself fool by the cover: JCVD is not in many scenes in the movie and even then he doesn't have a lot to do. The main "hero" is Sho Kusugi, that pesters us with way too long monologues about life and how to be a better person. When there is action (all together around whole 10 minutes of the movie) he is indestructible. It's clear, that there is an ego involved, that fits nowhere but in his own movie about him. Mediocre but not nearly enough action, stupid and boring dialogue. Hey, at least the scenery is nice.
