I was in two minds about purchasing this game. On the one hand I could explore an entire universe in which I could get lost and be the first to discover a plant, animal, planet even an entire star system! On the other hand the entire universe is procedurally generated meaning it's a variation of a base model that's tweaked over and over. There is no linear story apart from the journey to the centre of the universe (which I have not yet reached), once you've attained all the inventory slots in your suit, ship and multi-tool it's to you to decide what level of technology you have but let's be real. You need all the protection you can get which means a lot less inventory space for carrying resources. Some of the rescoures are very rare which makes farming a challenge but there are some I need which I've never seen and there's no guide to tell you where you'll find it. The game has had a few patches since its release to fix 'bugs' but since the last patch I can't leave a space station without my game crashing. TL;DR My only question before purchase was whether this game was worth the price.. the answer is no! It still needs refinement, there are a lot of bugs and limited things to do. However this is a game worth playing if you want to get lost in space exploration, something to do to unwind. There isn't much of a challenge so anybody can easily play the game. I just advise you to wait until the price is reduced and the game crashing issues are resolved. Happy exploring!
