One of my personal favourite films ever made and in my opinion one of the best ever end of, Lawrence of Arabia is simply put a film of unmatchable scope- the epic of all epics, this is nearly four hours of absolute beauty. Watch this film on the biggest screen you can, with the best sound set-up- only then can you truly appreciate the incredible direction, beautiful cinematography, and the nuances of Peter O'Tooles brilliant performance, alongside my undisputed favourite soundtrack of any film.

The film is a 5 star epic but this steelbook should be avoided at all costs. The `standard` Blu-ray release is a 2 disc set containing the classic film and a second disc containing extras. However, this steelbook contains only the feature disc. Very disappointing!

I would have to agree that the film need no introduction. Amazing. The Steel excellent. The 2nd disc with the extra content shouts out in pain im not here. That's the reason for the ☆★☆★

The presentation of the movie is absolutely wonderful but the lack of solid extras means that it misses out on a perfect scoring.

"The trick, William Potter, is not minding that it hurts". Lawrence of Arabia is a timeless epic, which has kept fans of cinema coming back for over 50 years. On Blu Ray, there is so much more to enjoy. From the toiling scrawl across the vast deserts of Arabia to Lawrence's delve into madness, Lawrence of Arabia is a film worth studying, memorising and, more importantly, enjoying. Some may say that "there is nothing in the desert, and no man needs nothing" may be a walk up the garden path, but the film itself is never such a stroll. It is a film which is as emotionally and artfully stirring as any film to this day, and on Blu Ray, is an indescribable joy to behold.
