The way this was filmed simply makes sense to be seen in 4K with HDR. The movie was shot in natural light within the natural world, what better way to enjoy it. 4K and the Revenant were made for each other.
Don't think I've ever watched a bad version of this format but the 4k version is just incredible. Only negative is no Atmos
The picture on Zavi's site shows it comes with a digital copy but it does not.

The Revenant is one of the best 4K blu rays available, got this from Zavvi for a very good price and arrived on time
Very gritty film that looks amazing in 4k, DiCaprio is great as always.
