I purchased this mainly because I wanted a cheap alternative to the ridiculously overpriced 4k bluray players by Panasonic and Samsung and so far it hasn't disappointed me. 4k HDR films really look great on the Xbox one S and games in my opinion do look sharper even without the HDR.
