This is one of those films that’s the cinematic equivalent to comfort food, for me anyway. The set up is great, the effects wobbly and the performances appropriately hammy. Everything I wanted. The picture on the Blu-ray is beautiful. Shame there’s no substantial extras as I know the movie had an interesting history with Jack Arnold attaches to direct originally. Recommended.
