The plot was a bit silly but the film had great action and excitement and I think that silliness will be appreciated beyond its time. The steelbook isn’t glossy but looks really nice. I already owned the full 4K box set but have been gradually replacing each one with a steelbook version when I find a great sale. If you liked the first couple of Transformers movies you should like this one as well (although I think Shia Lebeouf comedic timing and a young Megan Fox’s “talents” are what made the originals so good to me. On my LG OLED the colors were dramatically rich and bright and since the Transformers were metal it was amazing how brightly the chrome areas flashed so much light when the sun hit it.there are many battles and tons of action so if you simply ignore the underlying plat action film fans should enjoy it.
