A lesser known one of Jackie Chans back catalogue here, which is a live adaptation of a Japanese manga that ran between 1985 and 1991. documenting the works of a hapless private detective. The tongue is entirely placed within cheek here ads Chan goofs and pranks his way through this movie, even paying homage to Street Fighter II at one point. All of the elements are there, evil terrorists that hijack a luxury cruise liner, massive fight scenes that bring a smile to the face. This is one that i owned on VHS for years and when i saw it available with all of the extras i felt compelled to own it. This is a good one to break people into the world of Jackie Chan with. Further to this break people into the world of Manga, further adaptations have been done of City Hunter including a TV series in 2011
