What can I say about this movie to let you know how good it is? try this, when I was younger I had the dvd version and I watched it so many times the tape broke. Set in the late 1920s, a time of gangsters and prohibition, the whole cast is made up off kids, a young Scott Baio and a younger Jodie Foster. Pedal cars and machine guns that shoot custard pies are the things that kids films were made for. This is truly a masterpiece of kids film making, singing, dancing and splurge guns, what more do you want from a film. Go buy this on the double! or I'll come round and splat you with my Splurge Gun, Capiche!

Any film that highlights Jodi Foster’s early acting is well worth the price. The songs are catchy & entertaining, the comedy is vaudevillian & the costume & set design make this a thoroughly enjoyable film. Spite68
