This is a stunning BR from the BBC archives. I have long (very long) memories of being relegated to the kitchen (away from the TV room) when it was originally broadcast and always being curious as to why myself (and my cousins) were not allowed to see the broadcast. Now I know! This is real SF of the top order. AS a story it is way above the norm - and the performances and production values are second to none. If you are tempted - don't hesitate.
