Darwyn Cooke was a truly great artist and versatile storyteller. This book contains a wonderful eclectic mix of his art and writing as well as collaborations with other writers and artists that include legendary Batman artist Tim Sale and writer Jeph Loeb. Cooke's work is accessible to all ages of comic fans that love exciting action packed tales of heroism. He manages to write within continuity of the established Batman lore but keeping his stories accessible to new readers while evoking a mix of classic styles and sensibilities. The book is great value for money and worthy addition to a seasoned comic collector or relative newcomer as it is jam packed full of wonderful material.
