I used to love watching this film with my dad at Christmas, but never owned a physical copy. This steelbook was a great price and has a clean gloss finish making the Neon details really pop. The inside artwork is really nice as well. An absolute classic film and well worth the price.

As the header says the steel artwork is fresh won't an amazing glossy finish (If your not a glossy steel fan & hate fingerprint marks this is not for you) But the 4k restoration is ok not the best I have seen Barring in mind the age of the movies age it wasn't to bad I'd say well worth the money

This movie is a classic for a reason, and stands the rest of time. The steelbook is a really nice addition to anyone’s collection! As always, the steelbook images and quality shown online doesn’t truly represent how gorgeous most of them are once they arrive in your hands. Highly recommended!

Gremlins is an absolute classic, one of my favourite Christmas movies of all time. The movie needs no introduction, a travelling salesman/inventor purchases a cuddly little pet for his son's Christmas from a little underground store in Chinatown. The mysterious pet has some very specific rules that an owner is meant to follow to ensure safety. The rules aren't abided and some crazy things start to happen. This movie has some big name and faces of the 80s, Phoebe Cotes, Judge Rinehold, Corey Feldman, produced by Steven Speilberg and directed by Joe Dante. The movie I would give a 9 out of 10 it's really that good. The 4k transfer is great, this is the best you will ever see Gremlins looking. This isn't a new movie, it's not shot in digital so you will still see some movie grain but the picture is very bright and sharp. The steelbook is so so, I don't think the graphic is very Gremlins looking. My steelbook came dented and I am awaiting a return being accepted by Zavvi so that I can swap it for an undamaged case.

What can I say about this film that hasn’t been said before, it’s simply amazing. The Blu-ray transfer was amazing back when it first came to Blu-ray. But now with the 4K transfer with HDR it’s the best it will ever get. If you enjoy the film and have the products to play 4K content buy this immediately. With Christmas around the corner it’s the perfect viewing during the Christmas period. And the steelbook is great to add to any collection with the same detail and quality of any zavvi product.

As a teen in the 80s iaheb a soft spot for films from that era and this is one of those. A simple good vs evil movie without any hidden depths - just good clean fun in 4k and with a steelbook case. The only downside I would say with this version is that I'm not sure you need to go 4k as the picture quality is not brilliant but then, from memory, the original cinema release wasn't either and you can only fine tune something so far.

Aw always zavvi definitely delivers another awesome looking steelbook.
