A stunning restoration by the Criterion Collection Packed with a vast amount of special features including Paul Bartel’s short films and a menu inspired leaflet. Eating Raoul has a fantastically original premise that contains orchestrated murder with a frying pan. It’s rare for me to want a film to last longer; however length isn’t the only thing I wanted more from it. I hope this film grows on me as it contains the ingredients for a classic. Eating Raoul is definitely worth checking out: it might not leave you in hysterics, but it definitely won’t leave you deadpanned.
