Nice glossy steelbook with original artwork, can’t wait to get the rest of the steelbooks

Finally a steelbook with the original classic artwork. That’s how a movie like this should be treated. It’s a beautiful addition to my collection. Well done!

Despite some confusion on it's delivery date, the first Star Wars entry made is done justice by 4K UHD with all elements looking & sounding superb. It is a shame that this is still the '97 special edition that's been given the upgrade & not the superior theatrical versions, but for now, this does more than tick the boxes. Spotless delivery on the steelbook - immaculate & scratch-free, unlike 'Empire' & 'Jedi' sadly. Let's hope it doesn't arise on future releases as there are quite a few more to go for us collectors ....

Zero quality control with the Star Wars steelbooks. You're more likely to have a copy with scratches or other damage than not.

I love the fact that they’ve used the original poster artwork for the steel book cover. On the 4K disc the picture quality is incredible. You can see everything in great detail, from C3PO’s gold body (which gets progressively dirtier and dented) to Princess Leia’s ivory white skin. The star fields aren’t twinkly stars but solid speckles of white on jet black. This version of Star Wars: A New Hope is the best I’ve ever seen and heard, my only gripe would be the fact that they’ve changed the Han/Greedo scene yet again! Please Disney, release the original theatrical versions in 4K!

Steelbook 4K original trilogy Star Wars movie sounded great but far exceeded my already high expectations. Great job Zavvi.

So much content on the 3 discs that it is probably the definitive Star Wars Bluray. And the cover looks great on the steelbook

The choice of doing a release of a 4k set of Star Wars is usually a good lucrative idea if it's done properly. Taking the official posters as art is really good but the lack of embossing/debossing comparing to the previous releases is very noticeable. But it's one of the best none the less
