Like everyone else I am severely disappointed with the art work for this steelbook. While I am aware this design had been used on some posters when the movie was released, there are far better options available that are more fitting with the art work proposed for the New Hope and Return of the Jedi 4K steelbooks. I have pre-ordered in the hope the art work will be changed, otherwise this and my order of A New Hope will both be cancelled.

Zavvi, The Steelbook front artwork is aweful! Please use the original poster artwork instead. But, photo of Yoda on the back is awesome. Also, a t-shirt which simply says "Empire Strikes Back" is terrible! Please again use the original poster artwork.

Why go for such horrendous artwork? Simple..... a lazy decision by Disney and Zavvi! Shame on you for not keeping the fantastic theme from the episode 4!

Zavvii chose the best poster for the EP IV steelbook and teased the best poster for the upcoming EP VI Steelbook. So why in the world did they chose this artwork for EP V instead of the beautiful style A poster? Of course it's a five stars for the best movie ever, but it's a one star for this awful choice, so yup this is truly a Star War. Please Zavvi : reconsider your choice for the sake of both beauty and consistency of our collections. Very disappointing design, not in keeping with the other 2 steelbooks of the trilogy.

Not the artwork I would've chosen and I wouldn't be disappointed if it was changed, but it is a fairly iconic poster. They've recent recreated it for the Vader Immortal VR series (https://bit.ly/ESBVader) to celebrate the film's 40th anniversary. Depending on the finish, it could look quite good. I would've preferred the more memorable 'Gone with the Wind' poster by Roger Kastel, but this art has its place in history too. For what it's worth, the film and extras discs are the same as those included in the 4K box set available from Amazon. It's probably the best the film has ever looked, with more accurate colour timing (no more pink sabers), HDR color grading and some minor VFX tweaks - although it is, of course, another variant of the 1997 special edition, warts and all.

Artwork doesn't match what's already been revealed. Please change it.

Great movie but who on earth give the go ahead to such artwork? Looks like something a kid would knockup on there first attempt of Photoshop

Pre ordered on the basis that this artwork will be altered, to that of the one sheet used upon this glorious films release. IF the artwork stays as is, I will be cancelling. As I am sure countless others will do. This artwork is not acceptable for what is the greatest film of all. This teaser design was a placeholder to state the film was coming. It is not what is required for an ultimate collectors edition, and will look odd with the other 2 in the Trilogy. Fix it.
