For the price you can't beat it. A perfect introductory set of jazz records for new fans and even old fans.

Package arrived today. I have to say I was dubious when placing the order but can only say how impressed I am with the service, quality and album selection. My only complaint is that I would like to place a repeat order. The nature of the deal is a random choice by ZAVVI so run the risk of getting too many duplicates. Shame.

This is a fantastic way to get you into some real classic jazz albums. I had only ever dipped my toes in the water previously so this doubled my collection in one hit at a great price. I guess for that reason it's churlish to complain but if you're looking for the best mastering quality here, then you'll be sorely disappointed. These are clearly digital remasters of the albums and although the pressings themselves are good, with nice quiet vinyl, the mastering quality is poor and the music sounds dull and lifeless. I received a copy of Getz/Gilberto in my collection and having already owned an older (still not the original) pressing of this album, my older copy has so much more life, depth, detail and sounds so much more natural than this remaster. For me, sadly, these won't get much play because they just don't sound that great.

These pressings are first class & awesome value for money. Very impressed.

Ordered several bundles around Black Friday 2020 on the promise of "mystery pack". Never received a single John Coltrane or Miles Davis (as were advertised on product listing). Instead I got exactly the same 6 records which is very annoying. The records are all reissues from 2016 on 180g vinyl by DeAgostini as part of their Jazz At 33 collection. Some were sealed some weren't, and I suspect a few were "returns". The sound quality isn't too bad though (much better than the DOL pressings) - for their audiophiles out there.
