Simple yet effective artwork. I love it honestly, if it ends up being embossed too that'll be a massive bonus, but even now i think its great. Also don't you just love it when people give 1 star reviews because they were too slow to order it

It is without a doubt that when someone thinks of classic films, they will usually think of the greatest filmmakers of all time who were behind them. Specifically, one particular type of film that has given viewers many greats is the horror genre. Steven Spielberg gave us “Jaws”. William Friedkin gave us “The Exorcist”. Dario Argento gave us “Suspiria”. John Carpenter gave us “Halloween”. But before all of those greats stunned us, shocked us and - most importantly - entertained us, one film made the hairs on the back of everyone’s neck stand up. That film is “Psycho”, directed by Alfred Hitchcock, fresh off the success of “North by Northwest”, and adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Robert Bloch. There’s really no need to discuss the film yet again, as it’s story is very well-documented all over the internet, but rather, I’d like to discuss this presentation of the film on release now to commemorate the 60th (!) anniversary of this brilliant film, the Grandfather of the modern horror film. After receiving a re-release last year in Germany of the extended, original cut of the film, Universal have (wisely) decided to reissue this cut of the film on Blu-Ray for this most important milestone anniversary that proves how a film like this shows its longevity and that execution, style and taste are all very important in the enduring legacy of a really good film. For this steelbook presentation, the disc is housed within a sturdy, cool clamshell metal case, the disc well-secured by centre teeth that hold it in place, without risking damaging the centre when removing the disc to watch it. An outer paper slip detailing what content is featured on the disc wraps around the back and lips over the top and bottom of the front package. This is easily removed upon opening the plastic wrap and does not damage the steelbook artwork. The actual steelbook looks fantastic, all black and not too much detail, it doesn’t detract from the film and the artwork completes this release making it a slickly-produced package that is sure to please any fan of this enduring classic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! *****

Cool simple iconic cover, awesome features and a extended version of the film that features more footage added to the classic thriller that makes a already must see even more of a must see and the end is still chilling to this day, love this steelbook it looks great in my collection and I will be looking to add more.

This steelbook was available for several hours on the day of release. Anyone complaining about not being able to purchase one was not paying attention. It will get a standard release eventually and the UHD film is available in the Hitchcock 4 film set, still up for purchase.

Simple but effective artwork makes this the Psycho steelbook to have in my opinion. Great 4K transfer and we finally get the uncensored theatrical version. Highly recommended!
