I never bought this version of the steelbook when it was originally released elsewhere a while back, but one can never have too many editions of Man of Steel. The first Superman film to ever move me, it will always be my favourite comic book movie. Always. Hoping Zavvi has the BvS edition soon and that Jim Lee gets to make artwork for Zack Snyder's Justice League next year!

Certainly would had purchase this, but with this artwork that has NOTHING to do with the movie (apart of the character) since this IS THE LIVE ACTION MOVIE and NOT an animation or the comics. Zavvi "done it" once again.... :(

While generally Zavvi steel books are hit and miss at least they are in theme with the movie. This art work has nothing to do with the Zack Snyder re-boot and as someone said the previous steel book with just the " flowing hope " symbol was much better. If u enjoy collecting fine have fun but there's NO investment in it these days and sad to say this is just a cash grab as for T shirt bundles lol what am I 12 ?? 🙄

I'm torn on whether to purchase this. I am a huge fan of Zack Snyder's take on Superman, while others preferred being stuck in the nostalgic era of Donner & Reeve (no disrespect) & while the design may be quite striking, it doesn't suit the tone of the 2013 reboot. I may stick to the 3D steelbook which featured the simple & effective symbol design. If this latest release's artwork represented the 1978 original, I would have no hesitation of making it a must-buy. Nice job nevertheless.

In my opinion you will never surpass the original 1978 movie and sequels with Christopher Reeve, I grew up watching those movies and for me and probably many others he will always be the man of steel.
