Amazing film, one of the best zombie films since 2004's dawn of the dead, top notch, 😊
After Train to Busan blew everyone away there were high hopes for its sequel. Sadly it’s a sequel in name only. No returning characters or setting other than it is one again set in an area of Korea. The film chugs along nicely enough and is inoffensive in its average action and characters but it is severely let down by circa 2000 bad cgi which is abundant throughout.
I don’t understand why this film is getting negative reviews, I think it’s a brilliant zombie film. Is it better than Train To Busan (a true classic in my mind)?, no but it makes for a great companion film and a solid entry to the trilogy. This film takes place four years after the first two films and has a very engaging storyline, a lot of zombies and amazing action to boot. The car chase towards the end is just breathtaking (even if it’s mostly done by a lot of CGI), very Fast And The Furious but with hordes of zombies mixed in. If your a fan of Train To Busan or if your just a zombie film fan in general, you won’t regret buying this film, it’s miles better than any of the horror and action films that Hollywood has pumped out lately. The steelbook is also very beautiful too, the art work is stunning and well worth the extra money.
Another solid steelbook added to my collection. Standard but great artwork/case, and of course a sublime film. I should stop buying steelbooks, but I'm wise enough to know that won't happen!
Recently started collecting steelbook dvds to display on my wall, this is a great addition with fantastic art work. Film is a great second installment of Train to Busan, would definitely recommend 👌
Steelbook arrived quickly, no damage either. Which is always a concern when buying steel books. The film itself is not as good as the first, but is still a movie worth watching.
Again the artwork on this steelbook is just beautiful. This film itself is nowhere near as good as its predecessor, but thats to be expected, but it still a fun watch to chill out to, especial in 4k goodness.
Though it did take a long long time to arrive when it finally did it was worth the wait it looks very cool great design will look amazing in my steelbook collection that I have started and I cant wait to watch it as the first was awesome hopefully this will be too
The steelbook itself is pretty cool... the film, however, is not. Sub-par (and over-used) CGI in the second half of the movie really ruins the promise of the first hour. Train To Busan was an excellent addition to the zombie genre but unfortunately the sequel is a swing and a miss.
The steel book looks amazing and the film is obviously amazing too! The quality of both the steel book and film are incredible and would highly recommend getting any of Zavvi’s limited edition blu rays or box sets! You WILL NOT be disappointed!
