As usual, a great figure by Hot Toys. The engineering on the joints and panels is superb, it really is seamless, and the battery compartments and switches are invisible. It may be a Mk VII repaint, but the Mk VII is already phenomenal. The diecast is more generously used than I thought. The upper arm, lower leg, and knee and elbow joints are almost entirely metal. There’s metal in the feet and thighs, and also on the torso beneath the flaps. There’s likely more that I haven’t seen. The paint is impeccable, photos and videos really don’t do it justice. There’s a more satin gold, a chrome gold, and also satin and chrome rose gold. Some small applications of gunmetal as well. The lights also look incredible in light or dark.

Absolute stunning piece ,heard a few issues with certain midas figures with regards to paintwork,but mine reached me in mint condition, loads of accessories, heavier than I thought it would be, weighs a ton,got a few hot toys ,I know they're expensive but this figure is worth every penny ,just awesome,a true museum piece.

A great figure. Weighty and very poseable. Unfortunately quality control at Hot Toys had many of the Midas armours go in to circulation with imperfections in the paint work. Lots of forums documenting them arrived scuffed or pitted, especially on the hips. This was the case with mine. Zavvi was quick to refund or replace, so I can't fault them at all for customer service. If you can live with buying it on the toss of a coin and taking a chance I'd still recommend it. As the build quality is superb and paint can be matched and fixed with a bit of trial and error.

Great figure on the whole, my first ever hot toys and it did not disappoint, highly recommend.

This is an amazingly beautiful figure. All the different shades of gold really make the different panels stand out. Lots of articulation. The ball joint on my feet seem very stiff, it should move but I don't want to force it. It still has the up and down ankle articulation though. Not a lot of accessories but still an amazing figure. Also has some weight to it as do all the dicast figures. No more to say really. It's beautiful !
