Im not the biggest Wes Anderson fan, his love of whimsy often doesnt strike a chord with this. So in purchases like this, i want to understand the whole picture from, his creative process to understand his thinking. What better way than The Criterion version. Which are always chocked full of extras and interview. They are produced in the nicest and most informative way and they are always a joy to own. Ill admit The Darjeeling Limited tells a strange story and fantastic sound track you cannot get out of your head. But this kind of release even gives people like me a window into this world. If youve never owned one of these, use this as a start.

Criterion has done it again. They make beautiful editions of amazing films and this is no exception. Its like an art piece to your movie collection. If you love movies, this is a must. The Darjeeling Limited is a beautiful movie. Emotional and funny with great acting. Wes Anderson is one of the best film makers out there. Congratulations for another little masterpiece.
