The box is huge - over two foot wide and over a foot in height. My son (a hyperactive 3yr old) was momentarily stunned before taking it, commenting how heavy it was. Its been a week and he's still examining and arranging the accessories before even beginning to play. For the money it's an incredible present - absolutely the last word in good Playmobil
